About Marmara Metal Refinery:
Heritage, Experience and Global Refining

Marmara began its activities with the workshop founded by Mahmoud Sultan in Aleppo in 1995, specializing in gold craftsmanship, melting, manufacturing and trading, and expanded into precious-metals and bullion trading in 2007. The business later extended its activities to Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar and, in 2022, established its operations in Dubai’s Gold Souk, strengthening its position across international bullion markets. In 2024, Marmara executed trades exceeding 106 tonnes of physical gold and utilized the refining and production capabilities of Italpreziosi for Marmara-branded gold and silver products. In 2026, the foundations of Marmara Metal Refinery were laid. Today, under Marmara Precious Metals Group, the refinery represents the Group’s progression into integrated gold and silver refining, production and precious-metals manufacturing.
